Recruitment Timeline

Are you in the tenth, eleventh, or twelfth grade? Here's what you should do:
  • Grades 9-10: Keep your grades consistently good. In the US, GPA (grade point average) is calculated starting from grade 9. Stay focused; you will have to report not just yearly grades, but also grades from each grading period. Start researching U.S. regions and universities using rating websites, Wikipedia, and YouTube.
  • Grade 11: It's time to take action! This is when college athlete recruitment usually takes place. As a general rule, the better the university, the earlier you need to start the process. You will need expert advice to navigate the thousands of universities, sports divisions, conferences, US regions, financial aid, and academic recruiting standards. We can help you compile a target list of schools, prepare your introductory materials, contact coaches, conduct interviews and compile a pre-read dossier, including a report of your family income.
  • Grade 12: Apply! As a student athlete, make sure to apply for early admission if your target school offers it, usually in November of your senior year. Missed the deadline? Don't panic; some doors may still be open.
